Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! Attraction at Disney California Adventure, opened on May 27, 2017. The Guardians of the Galaxy have been captured by Taneleer Tivan, the Collector, in his fortress; guests join the intrepid Rocket, who has escaped, in an attempt to save his fellow Guardians. Guests experience a random free fall sensation with new visual and audio effects. The attraction takes the place of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. For the 2017 Halloween season, the attraction was transformed into Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark.
