The Weeknd closes out Coachella’s first weekend

Coachella 2022 weekend one is officially in the history books. Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd closed out Day 3 after Kanye West dropped out days before the festival.

Doja Cat brought “Planet Her” to the desert with special guests Tyga and Rico Nasty, who was dressed as the devil and motorboated Doja to the crowd’s delight.

The bar has been set high as Billie Eilish capped off Day 2, making her Coachella’s youngest headliner ever, and Megan Thee Stallion made her first Coachella appearance.

Eilish called upon Gorillaz vocalist Damon Albarn to perform a couple of songs including Gorillaz smash hit “Feel Good Inc.” during her headlining set. Khalid also joined Eilish for their rendition of “lovely.”

Harry Styles capped night one with a legendary guest performance from the one-and-only Shania Twain.

The pair sang Twain’s iconic hit single “Man, I Feel Like A Woman,” and it’s safe to say the crowd just couldn’t get enough.

Other appearances kept the Coachella crowd on its feet! 

Justin Bieber and Snoop Dogg joined forces with Daniel Caesar and Anitta respectively.

Big Sean also wowed the crowd, bringing on rapper YG and singer Jhene Aiko, who also happens to be his girlfriend.
