A 53-year-old man jumped to his death from the iconic new skyscraper known as the “Jenga Building” in Tribeca Friday afternoon, police said.

The man plunged from the 18th floor window of 56 Leonard Street, near Church Street, around 1 p.m., cops said.

The deal for the Herzog & de Meuron-designed Tribeca trophy was the most expensive downtown penthouse sale of the year, according to listing broker Clayton Orrigo of Compass, who declined to identify the buyer.

Stephen Ferrara was co-listing the unit.

The 7,779-square foot building features 19-foot ceilings, double height windows, white oak and stone floors, a gas fireplace, a chef’s kitchen and three terraces totaling 1,252 square feet with panoramic water and city skyline views.
