Prince Harry refuses to commit to attending King Charles’ coronation: ‘A lot to be discussed’

Prince Harry has sensationally refused to commit to attending his father’s historic coronation in May.

When asked whether he’d attend the event if invited, the Duke of Sussex said “there’s a lot to be discussed” before he can make that decision, according to the second trailer of his upcoming bombshell interview with ITV’s Tom Bradby.

“There’s a lot that can happen between now and then,” Harry said. “But, the door is always open. The ball is in their court.”

“There’s a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they’re willing to sit down and talk about it,” he added.

When asked about his brother’s reaction to his constant — and high-profile — bashing of the firm since quitting royal duties in 2020, Harry responded, “He’d probably say all sorts of different things.”

Elsewhere in the clip, Harry insisted those accusing him of invading his family’s privacy by releasing the book simply “don’t understand or don’t want to believe” the press was briefed by the royals.

“I don’t know that staying silent is ever going to make things better,” he added.

When asked if he still believes in the monarchy, Harry said, “Yes,” before saying he “doesn’t know” if he will play a part in the monarchy’s future.

The clip was shared hours after Page Six reported exclusively that William and his now-wife Kate Middleton told Harry to don a Nazi uniform for a 2005 costume party.

Meanwhile, the Guardian published an excerpt from Harry’s upcoming memoir “Spare” in which he alleges that he was left battered and bruised when Prince William tossed him to the floor in a bitter fight two months before he and Meghan Markle left the royal family.

The now-Prince of Wales wanted to speak with his brother about “the whole rolling catastrophe” of their relationship and struggles with the press, which he pointedly blamed on his brother’s new wife Markle, Harry wrote in the memoir to be released Jan. 10.

William reportedly called Markle “difficult,” “rude” and “abrasive,” and Harry fired back that he was only parroting the negative “press narrative” the couple has extensively spoken out against in recent years.

The brothers continued shouting at one another — with William remaining stubbornly irrational — until Harry accused his older brother of acting like an heir and not understanding why his younger sibling was not content with being a spare, Harry said.

“He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor,” the Duke of Sussex wrote. “I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”

Harry eventually told Markle about the alleged assault after she found the “scrapes and bruises” on his back.

The former actress “wasn’t that surprised” that William allegedly laid his hands on his brother, but was “terribly sad,” he wrote.

The couple announced they were splitting from the royal family just two months later.
