Golden Globes 2024 live updates: ‘Poor Things,’ ‘Oppenheimer’ win best picture awards

“Oppenheimer” made a sweep at the 81st annual Golden Globes on Sunday night, with “Succession,” “The Bear,” and “Beef” taking the most wins in the television categories.

A big loser, though, was Taylor Swift, who appeared to leave the ceremony early after “Barbie” won the new award for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, over her “The Eras Tour” movie.

But back to the night’s winners: Billie Eilish, 22, won her second Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song, for the much-loved “What Was I Made For?” from “Barbie,” which she co-wrote with brother Finneas.

Host Jo Koy blamed writers for the atomic bomb that was his opening monologue, while Margot Robbie thanked co-star Ryan Gosling “for going full beach” as they accepted a Globe for “Barbie.”
