Kate Middleton made Meghan Markle cry days before royal wedding

Meghan Markle delivered a series of bombshells in her explosive TV sit-down with Oprah Winfrey on Sunday — including how Kate Middleton left her in tears before her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry.

Markle, 39, dismissed the widespread reports that she “made Kate cry” over her flower-girl dresses during preparations for the 2018 wedding, saying: “The reverse happened.”

“Everyone in the institution knew it wasn’t true,” Markle said, adding she wasn’t sure why no one from the royal family had denied the reports of a rift between her and Prince William’s wife.

What was “shocking,” she said, was that the “reverse” of what actually happened would be reported in the British tabloids some six or seven months later.

Markle didn’t divulge any details about their tiff except to acknowledge it was over her wedding’s flower-girl dresses “and it made me cry, and it really hurt my feelings.”

“There wasn’t a confrontation,” she said, adding, “I don’t think it’s fair to her to get into the details because she apologized, and I’ve forgiven her.”

“It was a really hard week of the wedding and she was upset about something, but she owned it, and she apologized, and she brought me flowers and a note, apologizing,” Markle added.

Calling Middleton “a good person,” Markle noted that it felt like the media “really seemed to want a narrative of a hero and a villain.”

“If you love me, you don’t have to hate her. And if you love her, you don’t need to hate me,” she said.

Among other shocking revelations, Markle said she contemplated suicide amid the pressure of living as a senior royal and a slew of negative press.

“I just didn’t want to be alive anymore,” she said.
