Emily Ratajkowski gives birth to first child with Sebastian Bear-McClard

Emily Ratajkowski is a mom.

The model gave birth to her first child, a baby boy named Sylvester Apollo Bear, with husband Sebastian Bear-McClard.

“Sylvester Apollo Bear has joined us earth side,” she captioned the photo of her breastfeeding her newborn. “Sly arrived 3/8/21 on the most surreal, beautiful, and love-filled morning of my life.”

Ratajkowski, 29, announced in October she was pregnant in a video for Vogue directed by pal Lena Dunham. She said she and Bear-McClard, 31, didn’t want to know the sex of their baby because it would be up to the child to decide how they identify.

“We like to respond that we won’t know the gender until our child is 18 and that they’ll let us know then,” she wrote in an essay for Vogue.

In November, she and her husband went on a “babymoon” to an undisclosed location to enjoy their last moments of privacy before becoming a family of three.

The couple also managed to squeeze in a luxe baby shower in February 2021, just a month before Sylvester would make his way into the world. Friends celebrated the then-mom-to-be at the NoMad Hotel in New York. She and her hubby were photographed packing up flowers, massive gold balloons and gifts she received during the surprise shower.

The space-themed gathering was thrown by pals including art dealer Sarah Hoover. One-half of DJ duo The Misshapes, Leigh Lezark, also attended, as well as jeweler Alison Chemla. Guests were treated to a three-course meal in addition to hand-drawn temporary tattoos from Hoover’s husband, Tom Sachs.

Ratajkowski and Bear-McClard, who is a producer, married in 2018 at the courthouse after a brief romance.
