‘Vanderpump Rules’ star Katie Maloney files for divorce from Tom Schwartz

Katie Maloney has officially filed for divorce from Tom Schwartz, TMZ reports.

The “Vanderpump Rules” star filed the legal papers in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, exactly one week after she and Schwartz announced their split.

Maloney, 35, and Schwartz, 39, were together for nearly 12 years and sent Bravo fans into a frenzy when they shared separate statements about their breakup via Instagram last week.

At the time, Schwartz admitted he was “not quite ready to use the ‘D’ word bc it’s too painful.”

The two were last seen together on Saturday, grabbing lunch at Mister O’s in Studio City, Calif. – an outing both made sure to document on social media.

Schwartz posted to his Instagram Story a photo of Maloney sipping on a cocktail, which she reposted along with the caption, “Its [sic] all good.”

However, an eyewitness at the restaurant said the pair “seemed disinterested in each other, constantly looking down and examining their cellphones,” per TMZ.

Maloney recently admitted that her decision to end their marriage had been “building up” for months.

“I felt like I was drifting and I couldn’t stop it,” she explained on her “You’re Going to Love Me” podcast. “It was the hardest thing to do. The hardest thing to tell him, because I knew it was gonna crush him.”

The ex-Bubbas began dating in September 2010 and tied the knot in front of Bravo cameras in August 2016. After discovering a marriage license mishap that played out on the show, they jetted off to Las Vegas to get legally married in July 2019.

Reps for Maloney and Schwartz did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment.
