It's great to access my subscription, but the app itself is very bare-bones. Which would be fine if it worked reliably, which it doesn't. Downloading an issue sometimes doesn't work, battery consumption is very high, and app continues to run in the background once you exit. Make sure to Force Stop each time you exit, or your battery will plummet. With a UI update and some optimizations, this app could be great, but right now it's kind of lacking.

The magazine itself is good. Good articles and reading it works well within the app. The problem is getting to read it. The downloads mostly don't work and if you leave the app they stop completely. The UI on the app also is pretty barebones and terrible. It would be nice to see improvement on that. Again the magazine is good and reading it on my phone works well and looks nice and is easy to go through but the ap itself to get there is pretty terrible.

First and foremost the App is incredibly slow, expect to restart it. The app won't download your issues most of the time, expect to select download more than once, and you cannot switch out of the app while downloading or it will just stop. Finally, if you switched from print to digital and need to make a call expect them to tell you your subscription was canceled and you need to reup. Took Screenshot of their websites own system showing i am good until October 2019, the person then said i called to get an answer i knew? When no, i was calling about not being able to download. Nothing but rude CS, the first I couldn't understand so expect to need to be transferred. Worst experience with an app, and then the customer service (if you can call it that) i have ever had to deal with. DO NOT GO DIGITAL, if possible just avoid Game Informer the writers might be nice, but the CS team couldn't care less. And the developers are clearly C grade or not funded as the app won't work well at all for you. User be warned, when it works it's nice to read, but expect that slow clunky, can't download, don't close it while downloading it, and if you need help don't bother.
