Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill is day to day with an ankle injury, coach Mike McDaniel said Tuesday during a news conference. Hill returned in the third quarter of Monday’s 28-27 loss to the Tennessee Titans after exiting earlier with the ailment.
McDaniel also said center Connor Williams has a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season.

Hill left in the first quarter after being dragged out of bounds by the Titans’ Sean Murphy-Bunting following a catch with the Dolphins up 7-0. Hill remained on the ground as trainers rushed to his side and was helped up before running off the field. He returned with just under seven minutes to go in the third quarter with the score tied 10-10.
Hill had two catches for 13 receiving yards before exiting, and made an immediate impact upon his return but was limited in the second half. He finished with four catches for 61 yards. The Titans mounted a late comeback to seal the win and hand the Dolphins their first loss at home this season.
Heading into Monday, Hill accumulated 93 catches and 1,481 receiving yards with 12 touchdowns this year. He’s aiming to reach 2,000 receiving yards by the end of the season.
“It was a lot of pain. It sucked,” Hill said after the game. “I’ve been dealing with ankle injuries this whole season. I texted my wife it hurt. She said ‘You better get your ass back in that game.’”
