Inter Miami are increasingly confident they can sign Spanish defender Jordi Alba, sources with knowledge of the situation tell The Athletic. Sources granted anonymity as they’re not authorized to discuss the deal publicly.
No deal for Alba is yet done or signed, but Miami are optimistic. If Alba joins, he won’t occupy one of the club’s three designated player slots.
