Manchester City have completed the signing of Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig.
The 21-year-old defender has signed a five-year deal with the Premier League club.
The Athletic reported on Wednesday that City had agreed to pay RB Leipzig €90million (£77.6m, $98.6m) for the defender, who has explained the reasons for the move, including looking forward to working with manager Pep Guardiola.
“Anyone who saw Manchester City play last season knows they are the best team in the world,” Gvardiol said.
“To have the chance to work with Pep Guardiola, too, will be amazing for me.
