Scott McTominay is unlikely to be part of Manchester United’s matchday squad against Bournemouth as he continues his recovery from a knee injury, Marcus Rashford also a fitness doubt.
McTominay, 27, picked up the problem after hyper-extending his knee in United’s 4-3 defeat at Chelsea earlier this month. He came on as a substitute during the second half in the 75th minute, replacing Casemiro.
He subsequently was not in United’s matchday squad for Sunday’s 2-2 draw at home to Liverpool.
