MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Austin Reaves dribbled around two screens, one from D’Angelo Russell and another from Anthony Davis, and bumped past Tyus Jones, pinning the Grizzlies defender behind him.
He took two quick dribbles, refraining from attacking a crouched Jaren Jackson Jr., and rose up for a 13-foot fadeaway jumper in the paint. As the ball bounced around the rim and dropped in, Reaves turned and ran toward the Lakers’ bench, pointing at himself and yelling.
