EXCLUSIVE: Jessica Simpson steps out looking thinner than ever in tight leather trousers after years of yo-yo dieting.... following claims her loved ones are 'worried' about her drastic weight loss

Jessica Simpson showed off her svelte frame in a stylish ensemble while making her way through JFK Airport in New York City on Tuesday.

The singer, 42, looked thinner than ever in a pair of skintight black leather lace-up pants, which she paired with chunky black boots.

It has been over three years since the Texas-born star lost 100lbs after welcoming her third child Birdie Mae, with friends close to her reportedly 'worried' that she's lost even more weight since then.

The I Wanna Love You Forever hitmaker teamed her outfit with a cropped vivid green jacket, aviator sunglasses and large gold hoops.

She was joined by her husband Eric Johnson who looked casual cool in a plaid black and blue shirt over a grey tee and blue jeans.

The blonde bombshell wore her platinum tresses styled into light waves for the day. Jessica further spruced up the look with a number of chunky gold bracelets and necklaces.

The couple - who've been wed since 2014 - looked in good spirits as they chatted while walking. 

The beauty also took to Instagram to share some snaps from the day, and was seen posing with her leg resting on a ledge. In another one she was seen looking over her shoulder while standing next to Eric.

In March it was reported that Simpson's trim frame has sparked concern among her close circle, according to RadarOnline.com.

Her friends are reportedly 'extremely worried' that the drastic weight loss 'doesn't seem healthy.'

Insiders claimed that the star has continued to lose even more weight in recent months. 

'Her clothes hang off her and her cheeks are sunken. She doesn't even look like herself anymore. Jessica's naturally curvy. It doesn't seem healthy for her to be so thin,' the source stated. 

In September, Simpson addressed her 100lb weight loss, which she achieved in 2019 after having her three children; Maxwell, Ace and Birdie.

Simpson revealed she weighed 260lb at 5-foot-4 during her pregnancy, which was 'heavier than my husband who played in the NFL.' 

The star revealed to Extra's Terri Seymour that what really helped her slim down was changing her menu.

'I went to a nutritionist, and I needed to get my eating habits right,' she said. When asked if she feels 'healthy,' the siren said: 'I absolutely feel healthy.' 

She added, 'I don't know. I feel like my old self before I had children and all the hormones going wild.

'I feel younger, actually. I have a lot more energy and yeah, I get to wear all the clothes that are in storage that I saved for Maxwell and Birdie. Maybe Birdie will outgrow them because Maxwell has already outgrown me!'

Terri asked, 'Why are people obsessed with your weight and how you look? Have you gotten used to it?'

'Oh, gosh, no,' she said. 'Would any woman?' And she added sometimes the insults get to her.

Jessica said, 'I've been criticized, and it hurts, but I've been every weight and I've been proud of it. I decided, "Okay, everybody is going to talk about my weight all the time, I might as well make money off of it and turn it into a business of selling clothes and acceptance."'

At the time she also shared she was on Harley Pasternak's Body Reset Diet plan, which includes three meals a day to 'keep the metabolism humming' as well as smoothies and snacks.
