'I'm not sure how much time I'll have left with him at this moment,' Hill wrote.

Although Hill was understandably distraught by Tate's condition, she made sure to express her gratitude for all the 'nurses and doctors who are looking after [Tate].'

In a second follow-up post, Hill captured a video of Tate wagging his tail when he saw her.

'From our visit today. Tate was so happy and excited to see me, it made me so happy to see him.'

'Dogs are such beautiful amazing creatures and this little soul has been the biggest blessing in my life.'
