Dakota Johnson looks boho chic in a cream crochet dress as she attends the 50th Annual Telluride Film Festival

Dakota Johnson attended the 50th Annual Telluride Film Festival, which was held in Colorado on Thursday.

The 33-year-old performer appeared to be making the most of her time at the yearly event, during which she attended a screening of her upcoming movie Daddio.

The actress — who was allowed to attend the festival due to an interim agreement from SAG-AFTRA — also addressed the crowd that had assembled to watch the forthcoming drama feature.

Johnson looked boho chic in a cream crochet dress that teased her toned figure as she strolled up to the event.

The Suspiria star contrasted the dominant tone of her clothing with a pair of black shoes and a matching designer purse.

Her gorgeous brunette hair cascaded down her chest and her signature fringe was partially swept to one side.

It was initially announced that Johnson had joined the cast of Daddio in June of 2021.

The lead role in the feature was initially supposed to be filled by Daisy Ridley, although she ultimately had to leave the project. 

Also starring in the movie is Sean Penn, who joined the cast of the feature at the same time as his costar.

Daddio, which was written and directed by Christy Hall, who had originally conceived the project as a play.

The movie, which also serves as Hall's directorial debut, is centered on a woman who has a painfully honest conversation with a cab driver during a ride home from JFK Airport.

Physical production on the feature took place last year, with shooting occurring in New York City and New Jersey.

Johnson and Penn both landed last-minute interim agreements to promote the project at Telluride.

Hall spoke about Daddio during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, where she discussed the actress' character.

The filmmaker stated that 'she seamlessly balances between being sexy and foul-mouthed while still maintaining an innocent softness.'

She added that Johnson's character 'also has this cheeky curiosity, a playful grace that permits this conversation to unfold, because her character isn't afraid of the colorful personalities that roam the city of New York.'

Daddio, which premiered during Telluride, currently does not have a scheduled wide release date.
