Mia Khalifa's recent holiday saw her tell a fellow passenger it was her "honeymoon" so they would "switch seats" with her.

The Instagram star and influencer was headed back from a recent holiday and found herself separated from her pal while on the flight.

But a stroke of genius hit the 30-year-old, with Mia convincing a passenger of a marriage and subsequent honeymoon, with the heart-breaking sob story enough to keep the influencer and her friend together.

Mia took to her Instagram stories and showed off her flight's good fortune and explained just how she managed to bag a spot in business class with her friend.

She wrote: "Told someone it was our honeymoon so they'd switch seats."

Her big brain move saw the influencer and her friend settle in for the flight next to one another, where the pair were seen feasting on in-flight snacks and watching TikToks.

Her story also featured a song from American singer Lana Del Rey, using the titular track from her 2015 album, Honeymoon, to add more to her bold lie.

It appears to have worked in their favour though, and the pair enjoyed their mock honeymoon trip home, landing in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Mia's trip abroad comes as she fought off mosquitos on a recent trip earlier this month, with the Daily Star reporting how the OnlyFans star was fighting back against the bugs.

The blood-sucking beasts were put to rights by a simple trick the former adult star pulled, saying it was "really cute" but it had ruined her pool.

She wrote: "This is literally the ONLY way I can sit outside in Florida w/o (without) getting eaten bc (because) mosquitos can’t fly through the bubbles. It's really cute but it ruins my pool."

It appears to have worked a treat though, as Mia managed to avoid being bitten by the bloodsuckers and enjoyed time in her pool.
