There are growing concerns about large events being held in areas of the country that have high transmission rates. Presently, Rhode Island has one of the highest transmission rates in the country -- nearly 600 cases per 100,000 in a seven-day period. The state's action level is 100 cases.
Covid Act Now ranks Rhode Island third in the United States for infection rate.
