Fans of The Traitors star Harry Clark have called him out for hiding his secret lavish lifestyle from his fellow castmates - after he recently revealed he couldn't even afford a meal at Toby Carvery.

During last Thursday's episode Harry, 22, confessed that he wanted to win the cash prize to be able to take his family out for dinner and not worry about being able to afford the bill.

But the narrative that Harry is trying to promote among the other contestants couldn't be further away from the truth, as not only does he fly on private jets but he also has celebrity friends. Taking to social media, one person questioned Harry's recent comment of being working class.

The fan wrote: "Thinking about my family working, worrying about going on holidays and stuff” — oh come on dorlin!!!" And this comment was accompanied by two pictures that Harry had previously posted of him sat in a private jet. But this social media user was not the only one to vent their fury.

Another wrote: "Why does Harry even need this money when he flies around in private jets? It's p*****g me off." A third added: "Hang on Hazza you had me believing you couldn't afford a Toby Carvery with the family in tonight's episode..." A fourth penned: "How many meals out does Harry want to go on?'

In other snaps, one includes Harry pictured with singer Conor Maynard back in July last year, who is seen pulling funny faces for the camera while sat on the jet. Flaunting his wealth, Harry also sported a Louis Vuitton shoulder bag and a Vivienne Westwood signet ring. Conor is the brother of Harry's girlfriend Anna.

However, sat at the dining table among the other contestants, viewers saw Harry tell them: "My happiness comes from seeing my family happy, like my brothers and sisters. Mine is like a mad house because there are 11 or 12 of us. So when we go out for a family meal, it's not just us going out. You will hear us going out."

He added: "But it would be the best thing to go home and that Saturday be like ''let's all go out, but at the end, no one has got to worry about paying. Just being able to go up and pay the bill firstly would be amazing, and then it just sets me up for my next chapter in life. I'm not saying I'm looking at getting out the army but I am sort of tired of travelling all the time."

Before joining the show, Harry who is dating CBBC star Anna Maynard, worked as an engineer in the British Army. At the beginning of the second series, Harry was chosen as one of three "traitors" who was tasked with killing off other remaining 19 Faithful contestants throughout the show. Meanwhile, the Faithfuls work to unmask the Traitors - picking them off in the hope to secure the cash prize.
