Pete Buttigieg, the U.S. Secretary of Transportation, is planning a trip to the Michigan island known for its unique methods of transportation – Mackinac Island.

Buttigieg will deliver a keynote address Wednesday, June 1, at the Mackinac Policy Conference and is expected to host a joint press conference with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer later in the day.
