Some of Rutgers’ top high school football recruits are headed to campus on Saturday to watch the Scarlet Knights host the Iowa Hawkeyes at SHI Stadium at 7 p.m.

Don Bosco (Ramsey, N.J.) four-star defensive lineman Jordan Thomas, the top-ranked junior in the NJ.com Top 50, will watch Saturday’s game from the stands after trying to lead his team to victory in Oradell against the Bergen Catholic Crusaders – the state’s top high school football team – just hours before kickoff.

Woodrow Wilson’s (Camden, N.J.) Willy Love – N.J.’s second-ranked junior, and Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, N.J.) standout Jaylen McClain, are two in-state, four-star DBs set to attend.

Erasmus Hall (Brooklyn, N.Y.) four-star edge Caden Brown (6-4, 215) – who has quickest first step in the region, and four-star Long Island speedster Josiah Brown (6-0, 170) – who “almost” picked Rutgers earlier this year, will also attend Saturday’s tilt.

Class of 2023 Rutgers commits John Stone – an offensive lineman from Washington Township, N.J., Davoun Fuse – a 6-4, 190-pound quarterback-turned-linebacker from Washington, Pa., and Ian Strong – a tall (6-4, 190), explosive athlete from St. Anthony’s in Long Island City, N.Y., will also appear.

Davoun will be joined by brother Semaj – a 6-2, 250-pound sophomore defensive tackle on pace to a four-star rating, while Strong will be flanked by similarly long, athletic teammate K.J. Duff (6-5, 190), who is a junior.

Also confirmed are Donovan Catholic (Toms River, N.J.) sophomore wide receiver Michael Thomas III – who Rutgers just offered, has size (6-1, 175), speed and explodes in and out of his cuts; and 6-6, 300-pound Arlington (N.Y.) junior offensive lineman Colin Cubberly, who Rutgers has prioritized.

Check back with NJ.com as we will add names to the list as recruits confirm that they will attend.
