Evidence of all three Galaxy S24 series batteries has surfaced online, courtesy of the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards. While the Galaxy S24 Plus gains a modest battery capacity improvement over its predecessor, the same cannot be said for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Meanwhile, AnTuTu has confirmed various Exynos 2400 specifications, which is a likely candidate for European versions of the Galaxy S24 series.

More details about the Galaxy S24 series and its numerous variants have emerged online, months before Samsung is expected to unveil its next flagship smartphones. Recently, Ice Universe described a few changes headed to next year's Ultra model, such as an upgraded display and a titanium case, among other improvements. Now, GoAndroid appears to have discovered certification documents for the batteries that Samsung will include for three Galaxy S24 series models.

So far, the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS/Safety Korea) has published documents and images of the EB-BS922ABY, EB-BS926ABY and EB-BS928ABY, which are thought to power the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra, respectively. Based on the information provided, it seems that Samsung is content with including a 5,000 mAh battery within its Ultra smartphones, which has been the case since the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24 Plus is said to feature a 4,900 mAh battery, a 4.25% increase over the 4,700 mAh cell in its predecessor. For reference, a 4,900 mAh battery would also represent an 8.8% improvement for Samsung's 'Plus' smartphone in two years. Separately, AnTuTu has described the core features of the Exynos 2400, an in-house chipset that Samsung is expected to offer in Europe and some Asian markets. Reportedly, Samsung has designed the Exynos 2400 using Samsung Foundry 4 nm nodes, which will underpin an ARM Cortex-X4 prime core clocked at 3.1 GHz, as well as five Cortex-A720 cores and four Cortex-A520 efficiency cores.

In other words, the Exynos 2400 will utilise ARM V9.2 cores, meaning that it will be a 64-bit-only chipset. Moreover, the Exynos 2400 will arrive with an Xclipse 940, an RDNA 2-derived GPU with 12 Compute Units (CUs). Theoretically, the Xclipse 940 could mirror the raw performance of the Radeon 680M, but we would not recommend passing judgement on the former's capabilities until retail units arrive. Elsewhere, Samsung is rumoured to integrate the Exynos 5300 modem, which is already present in the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.
