All about Kim Kardashian’s children: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm

SINCE Kim Kardashian and Kanye West began dating in 2011, they have welcomed four children together.

During that time, they also got married and filed for divorce, and now fans want to know more about their kids.

Kim and Kanye's children include:

North West

North is Kim and Kanye's eldest child. She was born on June 15, 2013.

She is often pictured out with her mother and is already something of a style icon.

In 2017, Kim and North appeared on the cover of Interview Magazine, and the children of other famous faces got to ask North questions.

In terms of her name, Kris Jenner previously said: "The way Kim explained it to me was that North means highest power, and she says North is their highest point together."

Saint West

Saint was born on December 5, 2015.

Like his sister, Saint has also become a public figure but is also enjoying his life as a kid and is heavily involved in soccer.

The reason they picked the name Saint is because he was a "blessing" after Kim's tricky pregnancy.

Chicago West

Chicago was born on Jan 15, 2018.

After doctors told Kim it would be unwise to go through with a third pregnancy, she and Kanye decided to get a surrogate.

Kim's egg and Kanye's sperm were used, and baby Chicago arrived in early 2018 weighing 7lbs 6oz.

It is thought they picked the name Chicago as a tribute to Kanye's late mother, as it was where she raised the rapper.

Psalm West

Psalm is the youngest child of Kim and Kanye. He was born on May 9, 2019.

In February 2020, Kim revealed that she believed Psalm was the reincarnation of her father, Rob Kardashian Sr.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star - whose father passed away in 2003 - admitted she was introduced to the idea while on a trip to Indonesia.

"We were in Bali, and a woman - a blind medium - came up to me and said that I was going to have another son and that it was going to be my father reincarnated,” she told E! News.

Why did Kim and Kanye get divorced?

After they dated and tied the knot in 2014, fans assumed that Kimye would be together forever.

However, things changed in February 2021 after Kim filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

“Kim and Kanye haven’t been on the same page for a while now,” a source told Us Weekly at the time.

“Kanye isn’t as focused and doesn’t live in the real world. Their worldviews no longer line up. Kim is done dealing with Kanye’s unpredictable behavior, she has tried to get him into treatment for his mental health and all attempts have been unsuccessful. No one can tell Kanye what to do other than Kanye.”

Since Kim filed for divorce, their split has been very public and very messy, even after it was finalized on November 29, 2022.

As per People, Kim and Kanye share joint legal and physical custody of their four kids.

However, a source told the publication: "Although Kim and Kanye share custody [of the kids], Kim is the primary caregiver.

"They agreed that Kanye needs to speak to Kim in private about any complaints and not go public with them. She wants the kids to be protected. Kim hopes the co-parenting will be a bit easier from now on."
