Here are some snacking habits that you could adopt if you’re above 50.
  1. Consume snacks that have proteins in them. Proteins are not just healthy but they also help to keep you full for longer. Eating snacks that have good amounts of proteins in them will keep away the hunger pangs which will prevent binge-eating.
  2. Include liquid snacks. Smoothies are a great option for snacks. You could incorporate fruits, dry fruits, or whey proteins in your smoothies. However, keep a check on the amount of carbs that you are consuming.
  3. Add prunes as your snack. Prunes are a good source of boron and magnesium, both of which are good for the bones. It will help to keep the bones healthy and prevent the chances of decay and fractures.
