Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 14 game

Even a fiery Patrick Mahomes couldn't come out victorious in his first trip to an icy Lambeau Field. He and the Kansas City Chiefs (8-4) seek to rebound in a Week 14 home game against the Buffalo Bills (6-6).

Last week, the Chiefs fell 27-19 to the Green Bay Packers as Mahomes went 21-of-33 for 210 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Isiah Pacheco had 18 carries for 110 yards and a score for his second 100-yard game of the season. It was the first time Travis Kelce lost in front of Taylor Swift.

The Bills are coming off their bye week and have lost three of their last four games. Josh Allen has thrown an interception in all but two games this season. The quarterback has been playing through a shoulder injury and the time to rest might have been needed.

Buffalo has won the last two regular season matchups against Kansas City. The two teams also faced off in back-to-back playoffs with the Chiefs winning both times at Arrowhead, 38-24 in the 2020 season's AFC Championship and 42-36 in overtime in the 2021 divisional round.

Will Kansas City be able to rebound for a home win? Or will the Bills be fresh enough to keep their streak going?

Lorenzo Reyes: Chiefs 27, Bills 20

Kansas City is historically very good coming off of a loss under Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes; the last time the Chiefs dropped two games in a row, it was Weeks 2 and 3 of the 2021 season. The hook keeping this under a field goal is key, but the Chiefs have lost three of their last five, so proceed with some caution.

Tyler Dragon: Chiefs 27, Bills 21

We’re still waiting for the Chiefs passing offense to take a substantial leap forward. But the Bills have more holes on offense. The Chiefs are the more complete team on both sides of the ball. Patrick Mahomes, Isiah Pacheco, Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice will make enough plays to get Kansas City the victory.

Safid Deen: Chiefs 30, Bills 24

They might be weaker than they were when they entertained us in the playoffs, but the Chiefs and Bills will deliver another heavyweight matchup. Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen will dazzle us, but the Chiefs defense will leave its mark in this one.

Victoria Hernandez: Chiefs 28, Bills 21

Patrick Mahomes will be hungry for redemption after losing in his first time at Lambeau. In the past, Josh Allen and the two-time Super Bowl champion have been competitive, but the Bills quarterback has lost some of his mojo this season while the defense might be Kansas City's shining star right now. The Chiefs get the home win.

Jordan Mendoza: Chiefs 30, Bills 28

Josh Allen vs. Patrick Mahomes has given NFL fans classic battles in recent years, and it won’t be different this time around. Buffalo cannot afford to fall under .500, but it’s hard to trust which team is going to show up each week. The Chiefs offense engineers another game-winning drive in the final minutes against Buffalo.
