Indianapolis Colts at Cincinnati Bengals: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 14 game

The Indianapolis Colts (7-5) are one of the hottest teams in the NFL, and they'll try to extend their winning streak against a feisty Cincinnati Bengals (6-6) team in Week 14.

Don't look now, but Indianapolis has won four in a row and still has a chance to grab the No. 5 spot in the wild card. The Colts extended their AFC-best four-game winning streak with a thrilling overtime win against the Tennessee Titans, giving Indianapolis a real shot at a playoff berth.

One of the biggest surprises of the week, Cincinnati is riding high after going into Jacksonville and coming away with a "Monday Night Football" win. Jake Browning was impressive in getting his first career win in the NFL, while Ja'Marr Chase helped him with a monster performance. What was turning into a forgotten season has suddenly turned into a promising one, and another win could boost playoff hopes in Cincinnati.

Lorenzo Reyes: Colts 23, Bengals 20

In what’s essentially a pick ‘em, I’m going to back the hotter team. And while the Bengals put up big numbers against the Jaguars, I don’t have confidence that Jake Browning can replicate that in consecutive games. For Indy, it’s all about limiting the downfield passing game.

Tyler Dragon: Colts 24, Bengals 20

The Colts have won four straight games, the longest active winning streak in the AFC. Jake Browning had a career game in Week 13 against the Jags. But Indy’s game plan will attempt to prevent Ja’Marr Chase from having 11 catches, 149 yards and one touchdown like he did versus the Jags. Colts extend their winning streak to five in a row.

Safid Deen: Bengals 23, Colts 20

The Colts are so used to playing with backup quarterback Gardner Minshew and running back Zack Moss at this point. But the Bengals showed they can still play with anybody in their win against the Jaguars. I like Bengals backup Jake Browning depending on Ja'Marr Chase and Joe Mixon at home in Cincinnati this week.

Victoria Hernandez: Bengals 27, Colts 24

If we learned anything last week, it’s to believe in Jake Browning. Joe Burrow’s backup was red hot in an overtime upset over the Jaguars. Cincinnati expertly balanced the run-and-pass game so that the quarterback could get his footing and gain confidence. The Colts have quietly pieced together a four-game win streak but will have it snapped by this hyped-up group.

Jordan Mendoza: Bengals 27, Colts 26

The Bengals certainly have new life after an impressive performance against Jacksonville, but the question will be was it a once-in-a-lifetime game for Jake Browning? The Colts' defense can be suspect at times, and if Ja'Marr Chase gets opportunities like he did last week, it could spell trouble for Indianapolis. Cincinnati wins another game in the final seconds.
