There are also various Glass Workshops where attendees ages 14 and up can sculpt a glass Christmas tree, Santa hat or candy cane. For the preschool set, check out SAA’s “Literally Inspired” Workshops, where a parent/guardian and child can be inspired by a children’s book and work together to make a corresponding art project. Workshops on Dec. 6 and Dec. 8 will feature the children’s book The Mitten, and preschoolers and their parents will have the chance to make a clay mitten ornament.
