The value of routine, mundane activities is understood only when one is unable to perform them as usual. Such was the condition of a patient at Meitra Hospital, who met with a severe accident resulting in a paralyzed condition of his right hand, restricting his daily activities. Our patient, a young male from Oman, who tried relentlessly for 15 years to seek a permanent solution to his hand injury and finally found a cure at Meitra’s Hand, Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery department with the help of our expert surgeons.

He travelled to the U.K, U.S.A., and Korea only to get disappointed after undergoing multiple surgeries and treatment options. Several doctors even advised undergoing amputation and some even suggested having patience for another decade for innovations in medicine to emerge. Despite all this discouraging medical advice, his positive spirit and the continued search for a better, perfect treatment led him to Meitra Hospital in Kerala where he finally got a ray of hope.
