The new slimmer Alienware x15 and x17 gaming laptops as well as the bread and butter Alienware m15 gaming laptops are both on sale. We’ve listed out the power consumption rating (TDP) on the GPUs; the same video card can come in several different TDP ratings. Higher TDP rating correlates to better gaming performance, but that also means more heat generated so you often need a thicker chassis and beefier cooling. Ultra-thin laptops like the Alienware x15 and x17 thus benefit from a lower TDP GPU.
