The TCL 5-Series is our top pick for best budget QLED TV. When it comes to value, you simply won’t find a better deal. Right now this Editor’s Choice TV is on sale for $399. In our TCL 5-Series Roku TV review, we said this TV delivers a solid quantum-dot 4K picture at an affordable price. We also like that it has full-array active local dimming, so that it can subdue the backlight on one area of the screen while boosting another brighter area. In fact, it earned our Highly Recommended rating in the 2021 Tom’s Guide Award for value TVs.

    Hisense U6 Fire TV

Looking for an afforable 50-inch QLED TV? Amazon has the Hisense U6 Series on sale for just $429, making it one of the best deals going on right now. Besides having a quantum dot filter, this TV uses a full array panel, supports regular HDR, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision HDR formats, and comes with Amazon’s Fire TV smart platform built-in. If you don’t want the Fire TV platform, Best Buy has the Hisense 50-inch U6H 4K Google TV on sale for $339 (opens in new tab)

It’s a modest $50 discount, but the TCL 5-Series is our favorite QLED TV when it comes to value. In our TCL 5-series review, we said it offers killer performance and a wide variety of features. These include support for Dolby Vision/HLG/HDR10/HDR10 Plus, voice remote with Alexa support, auto game mode, and Google TV.

Best Buy also has the 50-inch model on sale for $399 (opens in new tab) ($30 off), whereas the 55-inch model is on sale for $419 (opens in new tab) ($10 off). As a side note, the 55-inch model was on sale for $199 (!!!) this past weekend, but I really don’t think we’ll see that price point again this year.

    LG G2 OLED

If you want a premium OLED experience — the LG G2 is the best OLED TV you can buy. In our LG G2 OLED review, we gave this stunning TV 4.5 out of 5 stars and said, “this is also the first OLED TV that is bright enough to recommend to people who will find themselves watching TV in a naturally lit room during the daytime.” So you will get the best picture quality for any sports matches even in the day. Perfect for World Cup fans watching those day matches.

    Samsung The Frame TV deal

One of last week’s most epic TV deals is back in stock. Woot has the Samsung Frame 2022 line of 4K TVs available for purchase from $429. The QLED TVs feature an art mode that displays your favorite artwork, shows, movies, and more. They also feature HLG/HDR10 Plus support, built-in Google Assistant/Alexa, auto gaming mode, and Samsung’s Tizen operating system.

    All sizes are currently on sale: the 32-inch costs $429 (was $597); 43-inch costs $749 (was $997); 50-inch costs $869 (was $1,299); 55-inch costs $1,099 (was $1,499); 65-inch costs $1,489 (was $1,999); 75-inch costs $2,099 (was $2,999); and the 85-inch costs $2,997 (was $4,297).

The reason I call this an epic deal is because if you look at Samsung’s direct prices (opens in new tab), they’re up to $900 higher and nowhere near Woot’s promos!

If you want a TV deal that hits the sweet spot in terms of price and size, the Amazon Fire TV 4 Series is a good place to start. This 55-inch set delivers a sharp 4K picture with support for HDR 10, HLG, and Dolby Digital Plus.

The Fire TV 4 Series makes it easy to launch your favorite streaming services, and you get an Alexa Voice Remote to find find apps, movies and shows. You also get 3 HDMI ports along with HDMI eARC support. The 55-inch model is on sale for $329 (opens in new tab) (was $519), but we’re seeing estimated ship dates of 3 to 6 months.

The OLED TV that broke all price records is back in stock! Right now Best Buy has the LG A2 65-inch 4K OLED TV on sale for $1,299. That’s $300 off and one of the cheapest 65-inch OLEDs we’ve ever seen. The 48-inch model is also in stock, but it’s not on sale anymore. This latter model sold for $569 just a few days ago, but the 48-inch model is now in stock for $1,299 (opens in new tab), which obviously makes the 65-inch model the way to go. This deal was so amazing we bought the 48-inch model ourselves to test.

In our LG A2 OLED review, we said it delivered excellent picture quality, wide viewing angles, and perfect blacks. Thats said, there are some drawbacks (for gamers). While a low latency mode is welcome, the 60Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.0 ports instead of the newer HDMI 2.1 are not ideal. However, those who aren’t into gaming (and casual gamers) shouldn’t worry.
