If you want a new TV that will blend in with your home design, check out the deal Amazon currently has on The Frame QLED TV from Samsung.
This is the latest 2022 model of Samsung’s popular design, which means it sports a matte screen that reflects less glare than earlier models. Amazon currently has a number of models on sale in ranges ranging from 43″ on up to 85″, with with discounts of $200-$800 depending on size.
Since it’s a QLED display it should be a bit brighter than typical LCD panels, with better contrasts and more vivid colors. Plus, Samsung offers a ton of high-res artwork that you can display on the screen (as well as your own photos) when you’re not watching anything else.

If you’re looking for a cheap TV to put in a kid’s room, Amazon currently has a Lightning Deal going that knocks a 32-inch Insignia TV down to under $100 — but you have to be a Prime member to take advantage of this discount.
If you are, you might be interested in the 32-inch Class F20 Series Smart HD 720p Fire TV that’s currently on sale at Amazon for $99, nearly $100 off the usual $179 asking price.
Of course, there are some drawbacks to buying a $100 32-inch TV. The major one is that it’s just 720p, not 1080p, so your shows and movies won’t look as crisp and the details won’t look as nice as you’re used to on more high-res screens.
If that doesn’t bother you, say because you’re just looking for a cheap spare screen to put in a child’s room or guest room, this Insignia TV might be for you. It comes with support for major streaming services like Netflix, Pandora, Amazon Instant Video and Hulu Plus, and since it’s a Fire TV it comes with a remote that has Alexa built in.

Need something a little larger than the average TV? Amazon’s got a great deal on Samsung’s 75-inch The Terrace QLED TV that knocks over $3,000 off the price — but you’re still looking at a hefty investment for this massive outdoor TV.
But what an outdoor TV it is, with a massive QLED screen designed to look good even in direct sunlight (Samsung claims it can hit a peak brightness of 1,500 nits) and a durable, hardened frame with an IP55 rating against dust and water.
It’s an outdoor TV that has an IP55 rating to protect against dust and water and is built to hold its picture even in direct sunlight. It runs on Samsung’s Tizen software and has Amazon Alexa support built in, so you can call out the next show to stream without getting up.

That’s a nice chunk of change to keep for yourself, and it makes the prospect of taking home this 65-inch OLED screen that much more palatable. It’s worth it too, thanks to the remarkable contrast and vivid colors. Plus, with a 120Hz refresh rate and several HDMI 2.1 ports to connect your consoles, you can enjoy the latest games on Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 with all the bells and whistles.
I bought this TV last year when it was on sale for a similar discount, and it’s easily the best TV I’ve ever purchased. Admittedly, the webOS-powered smart TV UI is a little slow and annoying, but it’s worth it for a screen this good.

I’m ending my little run here by re-highlighting an incredible deal we posted earlier on this blog. If you want to save big-time on an amazing TV, then you’ll be happy to know Amazon is selling a TCL 6-Series 65-inch QLED TV for $699. Considering how this sale saves you $800, it’s a hard one to pass up!
This specific TCL model is one we reviewed last year and that we absolutely loved. It’s a 4K HDR TV with MiniLED and quantum dot technology for under $700. Like we said earlier, it has all the top features of a Samsung QLED for half the price.
On top of that, this is a 65-inch model that’s perfect for big living rooms. TV deals aren’t relegated just to traditional televisions. Projectors are also on sale during Prime Day and this specific Flash Deal is among the best. Samsung’s Freestyle 1080p projector just got a massive discount. This portable projector normally costs over $1,900, but today it’s down to just $797.
For the uninitiated, the Freestyle is Samsung’s first portable projector. The company has made ultra-short throw models in the past (including the excellent The Premiere projector) but this is its first stab at a portable model.
At its regular price, this wouldn’t be something we’d recommend. You could find better 4K projectors for far less than $2,000. But for under $800, the competition is more limited. A few Prime Days ago, an OLED TV would easily cost you north of $1,000. Fast forward to 2022 and we’ve seen OLEDs go for as little as $739. While OLEDs haven’t dipped quite as low today, you can still get a solid set for $798. Take for instance the Sony A9S, which is now on sale for $798, it’s lowest price ever. All sizes are on sale, but if you’re on a tight budget or don’t have the space for a bigger TV, this model won’t disappoint.

Now here’s something you don’t see everyday – a TV that I know almost nothing about. I’ve been covering TVs for years (a decade if we’re being exact) and this is one I’ve never come across.
This is the Samsung Q6D Series QLED TV. It seems like a spin-off of Samsung’s popular Q60 Series, but slightly cheaper and only available in a single 43-inch size.
That said, it does seem to share a lot of specs with the Q60 Series. It has a 60Hz native refresh rate, basic HDR10 support and Object Tracking Lite. Being a little newer than the Samsung Q60T, this the Q6D has the Quantum Processor 4K, ALLM (Auto Game Mode) and Super Ultrawide GameView that allows you to change from a 16:9 aspect ratio to a 21:9 or 32:9 ratio through the Game Bar.
It’s a neat blend of older hardware and newer features, and at $448, it looks like a really appealing TV set. Without seeing it, that’s the best I can give you, however.

I’m almost always going to direct you towards newer TVs instead of older models. However, sometimes there’s a great deal that you just need to know about on some older screens, like for example, this deal on the Samsung Q90T.
The Samsung Q90T was the range-topping QLED from 2020, before we saw the award-winning Samsung QN90A and this year’s Samsung QN90B. It doesn’t use the new Neo QLED panels that get extremely bright, but it still has the performance of a flagship QLED TV.
Essentially everything we like about newer QLED TVs is here in an older form. Instead of the 32x HDR, we’ve got 16x HDR and Direct Full Array. Instead of Object Tracking Sound+, we have the basic version of Object Tracking Sound. Instead of the Neo Quantum Processor 4K, we have the regular Quantum Processor 4K.
You get the idea.
That said, if you don’t need the latest and greatest model on the shelf, you can stand to save hundreds. The 55″ Samsung Q90T is on sale for $1,197 while the 55″ Samsung QN90B (this year’s model) is $1,597. To save $400, it’s totally worth choosing the two-year-older model here.

Let’s talk about projectors again for a second. Remember how I said that there were some great 4K beamers out there that can often get a steep discount? Well, the LG HU715QW is now officially one of them: regularly selling for $2,999, the now-discounted LG HU715QW is on sale for $2,499 on Amazon.
So what’s there to like about this one? It’s an ultra-short throw projector, for starters. There’s no mounting involved, you just place it a few inches from the wall where you want the screen to be. In terms of screen size, this LG model can reach up to 120 inches from12.48 inches away from the wall, or make an 80-inch image from just 4.65 inches back.
In terms of brightness and color contrast, this projector reach up to 2,500 lumens (not bad at all for a projector of this size) and has an adaptive contrast feature that makes colors look more saturated. It’s also got webOS built in that you can use to stream TV shows and movies from streaming services like Netflix.
Finally, it has a pretty powerful 20W+20W Stereo Woofer sound system and an eARC port if you want to connect it to an even stronger AV system.
It’s expensive, but it’s a great deal at $2,499.
LG HU715QW Ultra Short Throw 4K Projector: was $2,999 now $2,499 @ Amazon (opens in new tab)
This one is a bit of a luxury rather than an essential, everyday TV, but we did want to mention the deal that’s going on for Samsung’s 75-inch The Terrace QLED TV.
It’s an outdoor TV that has an IP55 rating to protect against dust and water and is built to hold its picture even in direct sunlight. It comes with Tizen (Samsung’s smart TV platform) built-in and can use Alexa as a voice assistant.
On the technical side of things, The Terrace has a direct full array panel and uses a quantum dot filter (hence its QLED moniker) and hits a peak brightness of 1,500 nits.
The bad news? It’s not exactly cheap, even for an outdoor TV. It’s on sale for $10,177 (woof!) but regularly sells for $13,247, so at least you’re saving about $3,000 on it.

I’ve highlighted the 55-inch version of the Amazon Omni TV down below, but the deal on the 65-inch version of the TV is just as good.
Although Amazon says it typically sells for $899, it has dropped to its current price of $499 in the past. According to CamelCamelCamel, it’s been this price in February, March and April, and Amazon dropped the price in June ahead of Prime Day.
Despite it being a common deal, it’s still a good one. A 65-inch 4K HDR Fire TV for $499 is a great offer and should be large enough to fill your living room wall.
Again, this is a TV that I personally own and I think it’s great for movies and shows.

Another entry in our ‘buy this, not that’ series is the LG B1 OLED, which looks like a great deal at $2,196 (marked down from $3,499) until you see the C1 OLED price.
What’s happening here is that Amazon and LG are pushing the 77-inch LG B1 OLED, a fine OLED TV that sits in between the A1 OLED and C1 OLED we talked about earlier. This TV offers a 120Hz refresh rate, making it better for gamers, but still uses the Alpha a7 processor, which means a slightly worse performance and lower speed.
Compare that to the 77-inch LG C1 OLED that’s only $140 more ($2,339), where you get everything that’s great about the B1 but with the better processor. If it were me, I’d pay the extra $140 to get the TV I know would last longer.

FLASH DEAL Looks like the Amazon 4-Series is getting its own flash deal this afternoon, coming down from $469 to $259 for the next 14 hours.
The 4-Series is a 4K HDR TV with Amazon Fire TV built-in and it was released alongside the Omni TV last year. It’s got 3 HDMI ports that top out at 4K/60Hz (sorry gamers!) and comes with the Fire TV Alexa Voice Remote that allows you to summon the virtual assistant.
At this 50-inch size, it makes for a great living room TV in small apartments where space is a premium and, because it comes with Fire TV built-in, won’t require any additional hardware to stream your favorite shows and movies.

This one comes with a bit of a caveat but, at $99, this Insignia Smart TV is a steal.
Essentially what you’re buying here is a 32-inch Insignia 720p TV with Fire TV built-in. That means you don’t have to buy any extra hardware to stream your favorite shows from Amazon Prime Video and Netflix, and 720p doesn’t look awful at this size.
The caveat I want to call out here is that this is a 2018 TV — that’s right, this TV is older than the Covid-19 pandemic. What that could mean is slower performance down the road, which could lead to some frustration.
That being said, it’s rare to see any smart TV at this price. $100 for a TV, let alone a 32-inch model with Fire TV built in is a deal worth mentioning.

What’s a deals guide for if I don’t talk about some great TV accessories to go with your new flatscreen?
Most likely you’re going to use your TV’s smart platform to access streaming services like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and more. But what about the movies in your Blu-ray and DVD collection? For those, you might want a 4K Blu-ray player.
Thankfully, Amazon has two great models on sale today in the form of the Panasonic DP-UB420 and Panasonic DP-UB820. The former is your standard 4K Blu-ray player but the latter offers support for Dolby Vision Blu-rays, Hi-Res Audio and more.
It’s a good pick-up if you plan on buying some 4K Blu-rays to go with your new TV.

Oh! Turns out Samsung’s The Frame isn’t the only 2022 model on sale today. Looks like Samsung has discounted a surprising amount of its 2022 QLED TVs.

Specifically, however, there are a few models worth pointing out. One of my favorites right now is the Samsung QN90B, the successor to Tom’s Guide’s best TV of 2021. The 55-inch version of this one is down from $1,897 to $1,597 (a 16% discount), not bad for a TV that just came out less than four months ago.
What makes the QN90B great is that it has the latest version of Samsung’s Neo QLED technology inside that promises a higher peak brightness (above 2,500 nits) and better control over blooming thanks to its MiniLED panel. It’s obviously a native 120Hz TV with support for HDR10 and HDR 10 Plus, and Object Sound Tracking+ sound for a more immersive audio experience.
If you want something fresh off the line, the Samsung QN90B is a good option.

I know it can feel like a lot of websites are telling you what to buy right now, and very few of them are telling you what not to buy. Let’s change that.
One deal I wouldn’t buy today is the one happening on the 48-inch LG A1 OLED (opens in new tab). Lots of folks will be tempted because it’s an OLED TV and at 44% off its regular price, it looks like a great deal.
But here’s the thing: the A1 OLED is LG’s most basic OLED model. It only has a native 60Hz refresh rate and uses the inferior Alpha A7 processor. That means picture performance takes a big hit.
My advice? Instead of spending $676 on the 48-inch LG A1 OLED, spend $120 more to get the 48-inch C1 OLED that uses the better processor and has a native refresh rate of 120Hz. If you watch sports or play games, you’ll definitely appreciate the spending the extra money for something better.

Hold the phone! The TCL 6-Series is on sale today?! Wow. Game-changer.
The TCL 6-Series proved that you could get top-tier performance from a mid-range TV. This particular model is the 2021 model that I was able to review, and I loved it. You’re getting a 4K HDR TV with MiniLED and quantum dot for under $700 – it’s basically all the top features of a Samsung QLED at half the price.
This deal is for the 65-inch model, too. A 65-inch is perfect as your main living room TV and with a 4K resolution, allows you to see all the details you’ve been missing. It also comes with Roku built-in, which is great if you’re a cord-cutter and want all your streaming services in one place.
I honestly might buy one for myself…

FLASH DEAL Here’s a fun one. Samsung’s The Freestyle 1080p projector just got a huge price cut during today’s flash deal. Typically this portable projector runs you over $1,900, but today it’s down to just $797 after a $1,100 discount.

At its regular price, this wouldn’t be something I’d recommend. At $2,000 it’s easy to find 4K projectors that are smarter and perform better. If you plan on having outdoor movie nights this summer or want a versatile projector that you can bring camping, The Freestyle is definitely a good pickup at this price.

Not interested in older models? There’s a deal today on Samsung’s The Frame (2022) QLED that’s incredible considering how new this TV is.
Available in five sizes (43″, 50″, 65″, 75″, 85″), the new version of The Frame trades out the reflective screen of the 2021 version for a new matte version that significantly reduces glare. It’s also using a quantum dot filter for more vibrant colors, making it a great QLED TV deal, too.
I had the chance to see The Frame in action a few months ago, and I came away very impressed. It’s a huge step up in performance from a few years ago. It wasn’t a TV I was often recommending to readers given its lack in performance, but this year I wholly recommend it for folks who want a TV to match their décor.

Another truly excellent option is the 65-inch LG C1 OLED, one of the best-selling TVs of last year, that’s been marked down to just $1,599 after a $900 discount.
Why this OLED? The C1 is the epitome of a price-to-performance TV. It has a 120Hz refresh rate with several HDMI 2.1 ports to connect your consoles. It’s got an amazing processor to upscale HD video to 4K. It has a great smart platform, excellent smart home compatibility with both Alexa and Google Assistant and, of course, unbeatable contrast.
It’s the TV everyone wanted last year, and now it’s one sale at a $900 discount.

Here’s a bit of a curve ball. The best Amazon Prime Day TV deal under $500 isn’t actually available on Amazon. It’s at Best Buy (opens in new tab).
For $499 right now, you can pick up a 70-inch TCL 4-Series Android TV that has an overall rating of 4.5 with over 400 reviews. The 4-Series is one of the best budget TVs and while it doesn’t have the same specs as the pricier 6-Series and therefore won’t be as appealing to gamers, it’s a great screen if you want a home cinema.
In terms of features, this one’s rocking Android TV with Google Assistant and Chromecast built-in. That makes it easy to send content from your phone to the big screen, and you’ve got support for HDR thrown in there too. It’s a little barebones compared to some other TVs, but at under $500, it’s hard to find a bigger TV.

The one under $400 deal I’m digging is this one on the 50-inch Hisense U6F QLED TV (opens in new tab). Being a QLED TV, you can expect better color range and a higher peak brightness, plus like the other TVs I’ve mentioned so far, it features Amazon’s Fire TV platform. Other niceties include support for the Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HDR10 Plus formats as well as a Full Array Local Dimming panel.
Hisense 50″ 4K ULED Fire TV: was $529 now $399 @ Amazon (opens in new tab)
Stepping up to a $300 price limit, I recommend this 55-inch Amazon Omni TV (opens in new tab). It’s one of the TVs I have in my own home, and I’m pretty partial to it. While it has its limitations like a 60Hz native refresh rate, I find its colors and brightness are more than adequate for some of my favorite 4K HDR shows on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, plus I really dig that it comes with Alexa built-in.
At just $299 after a $260 discount, it’s very tough to beat.
