Jennifer Lopez paid homage to her new husband Ben Affleck‘s 51st birthday by sharing a sweet Instagram post on Tuesday.
‘Dear Ben … Happy Birthday. I love you!’ penned the singer — who recently turned 54 — while giving fans a glimpse at their low-key celebration.
In the short clip, Jennifer was in the passenger’s seat of Ben’s car as they sang along to Sam Cooke’s Wonderful World with the windows rolled down.
They both mouthed the lyrics: ‘Don’t know much about the French I took / But I do know that I love you / And I know that if you love me, too / What a wonderful world this would be’
A source recently dished to PEOPLE that Ben is ‘happy and thriving’ at age 51 after tying the knot with Jennifer last year and blending their families.
‘Everything is going well in his life. He is happy and content,’ a close friend of the actor added.
Weeks earlier, Jennifer rang in her 54th birthday with a party that Ben threw together at their new $60M mansion in Beverly Hills — which they snapped up in June after over a year of house hunting.
Jennifer shared photos from the lavish shindig with fans who follow her monthly On The JLo newsletter.
‘Thank you all for the birthday love. Here’s a lil peek into my party,’ began the star.
She continued: ‘Ben hosted it at our new house with our closest family and friends. All the kids were there, it was a gorgeous day full of sunshine and perfect for a pool party!!’
Jennifer and Ben also recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
They enjoyed back-to-back weddings in 2022, including an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas.
A month later, the couple hosted a lavish, star-studded wedding at Ben’s Georgia estate.
Jennifer and Ben shocked fans when they rekindled their romance in May 2021 — 17 years after they called off their engagement in 2004.
They second chance at love came weeks after Jennifer made the decision to call off her engagement to retired MLB star Alex Rodriguez, 48, after four years together.
After their 2004 split, Jennifer and Ben went on to marry other high-profile Hollywood figures.
Ben met and married Alias star Jennifer Garner, 51, that year and they wed in 2005.
They welcomed three children: Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11.
Unfortunately, the pair separated in June 2015 and Garner officially filed for divorce in April 2017. It was finalized in November 2018.
Ben sparked controversy last year after saying her felt ‘trapped’ in the union.
Fans accused him of ‘blaming’ his addiction struggles on the 13 Going On 30 star and ignoring how she’d been there for him even after their divorce.
But Ben insisted that he was taken out of context and that he’d never ‘say a bad word’ about Garner.
Meanwhile, Jennifer tied the knot with multi-Grammy Award-winner Marc Anthony, 54, in 2004 and they share 15-year-old twins Max and Emme.
They split in 2011, with a source telling PEOPLE that the couple were constantly arguing. Marc filed for divorce the following year citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’
Similarly to Garner and Ben, JLo and ex Marc have a very amicable co-parenting to relationship.
Earlier this year, Jennifer admitted on the TODAY show that the process of blending hers and Ben’s families was ’emotional’ for all involved.
‘We moved in together. The kids moved in together,’ the Selena star explained. ‘It’s been, like, a really kind of emotional transition, but at the same time all your dreams coming true.’
As for her and Ben’s relationship with Garner, Lopez told Vogue last year that the Alias actress is ‘amazing’ and that they ‘work really well together.’
