The PAC dedicated to helping Dems win U.S. Senate races is knocking Republican Eric Hovde in its first Wisconsin ad, calling his lifestyle “pure California.”
A Senate Majority PAC spokesperson said the anti-Hovde ad includes $2 million on TV with an additional digital component. It will run statewide.
The spot identifies Hovde as a “California banker,” who is CEO of a billion-dollar bank, has a more than $7 million Laguna Beach mansion and was named one of Orange County’s most influential residents three years in a row.
The narrator closes the spot, “Multi-millionaire California banker Eric Hovde: On Wisconsin’s side? Don’t bank on it.”
The spot is running under Senate Majority PAC’s WinSenate affiliate.
