The next game in Monolith Soft’s Xenoblade series is just around the corner, with Xenoblade Chronicles 3 now launching earlier than originally planned.
Nintendo has announced that the game will now release on Switch on 29th July 2022, earlier than the September release window that was given earlier this year. As you’d expect, it’ll continue the story laid out in the original two games.
The latest entry in the long-running role-playing series, which connects the futures of the two previous mainline Xenoblade Chronicles games, invites players to embark on an epic adventure with “life” as its central theme. In the game, players will step into the roles of protagonists Noah and Mio amid turmoil between the nations of Keves and Agnus. Six characters hailing from those nations join forces to learn the truth behind their conflict, and set their sights for Swordsmarch, a land pierced by a giant sword.

Are There Any Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Editions On Switch?
So far, Nintendo has revealed the special edition release pictured above, set to launch exclusively on the My Nintendo Store. It includes package artwork from Masatsugu Saito, a full-colour 250-page+ hardcover art book and a steel case.
