Dakota Johnson looks darling in denim as she mingles with Ethan Hawke, his daughter Maya and Laura Linney during the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado

The 50th Telluride Film Festival kicked off in Telluride, Colorado on Thursday and runs until Monday, September 1.

Among the big stars at the event: Dakota Johnson, who was allowed to attend and promote her new film Daddio with co-star Sean Penn due to an interim agreement with SAG-AFTRA.

On Saturday, Johnson was spotted hanging out with some of the cast and crew of the new film Wildcat, which was co-written and directed by actor Ethan Hawke.

Johnson, rocking a stylish denim jacket, was seated on the grass with Hawke, his daughter Maya Hawke and Ozark star Laura Linney.

The 50 Shades Of Grey actress, 33, layered her outerwear over a loose fitting pink button-up shirt that she tied at the bottom to show off her waistline.

She completed the look with navy blue slacks and a pair of black mesh ballet flats.

Her long brunette hair was worn in an effortless half up, half down style and she sported designer sunglasses.

For added glamour, Johnson threw on a pair of shiny gold hoop earrings and a glossy pink lip.

While hanging out in the grass, Johnson chatted with Maya, who showed off her quirky fashion sense in an oversized striped shirt and baggy denim jeans.

Maya, 25 — whom Ethan shares with ex-wife and fellow actor Uma Thurman — plays the lead role of Flannery O’Connor in Wildcat, which is a biopic about the American novelist and her struggles to get her first book published.

Meanwhile, Linney, 59, looked to be all smiles in dark blue jeans and a green and black striped shirt underneath a black puffer coat.

In keeping with her relaxed mood, the Savages star also wore a Telluride Film Festival baseball cap over her long blonde locks.

Ethan also appeared to be in a jovial mood in an all-denim ensemble.

Over the years, the Reality Bites star has made a point to showcase his skills from behind the camera, as both a director and a writer.

In the past he has helmed the narrative film Chelsea Walls (2001), The Hottest State (2006), and Blaze (2018) as well as the documentary Seymour: An Introduction (2014).

He’s also gotten writing credits for Before Sunset (2004), The Hottest State (2006), Before Midnight (2013) and Blaze (2018).

Hawke co-wrote the screenplay for Wildcat with Shelby Gaines, who’s also known for his work as a musician and composer.
